ART CAPITAL – The big event of the French art scene

Ursula Schregel will be exhibiting in Paris for the fourth time in two years. This time from 13 to 17 February 2019 at a legendary place – in the Museum Grand Palais. The picture that Ursula Schregel will take with her to Paris has a very special reference to France: the “double picture” Le coq se bat avec Marine / La victoire du coq (The Cock Fights with Marine / The Victory of the Rooster) became decisive the impressions of the artist in the context of the French presidential election campaign of 2017 marked. With 40,000 visitors per year, ART CAPITAL has established itself as a major event in the French art scene in Paris and is still the largest art gathering in France. ART CAPITAL has been organized for 13 years by the Salon des Artistes Independants. The independent artists’ association has a long tradition. Among other things, she was co-founded in 1884 by Paul Cezanne and Paul Gauguin. ART CAPITAL, this unique event under the patronage of President Emmanuel Macron, offers an extraordinary and complete presentation of today’s artistic production. A journey into the art of the present for art lovers, collectors and gallery owners, an encounter with emerging and established artists from painting, sculpture, photography and architecture.
